- 1 Small Serrano Pepper
How to Make Guacamole Pico de Gallo
Slice your avocados into two pieces moving the sharp knife around the pit. Use a spoon to pop out the pit and throw away. Spoon the avocado out of the peel and into the bowl.
Mince the garlic and chop the onion slices. Add to the avocado bowl. Add salt. Mash these ingredients in the bowl with a potato masher.
Slice the lime in half and ream to juice it. Add juice to the bowl.
Slice the tomato in half and spoon out the seeds. Chop the tomato into small pieces. And add to the bowl along with the cilantro.
Slice the serrano pepper in half, remove the seeds with the spoon. Then mince half the pepper and add it to the bowl. Reserve the other half in case everyone is just crazy for extreme hot and wants more added. Stir well and wash your hands, knife and cutting board very well to get the pepper oils off of you.
Serve this guacamole with corn chips, tacos or burritos. It goes great with just about everything.
